For anyone interested in my background and committee work. I am a life long resident of Milton and worked locally for 30 years as an independent property appraiser appraising both urban and rural properties across the Halton region.

In the community, I have been involved with a number of organizations including the Milton Jaycees, Rotary Club, Air cadets, Milton BIA, Chamber of Commerce, Milton Santa Claus Parade Committee and various Parents’ Councils at local schools that my children have attended.

I was first elected in 1980 as a local councillor for Ward 2 which at the time included all the urban area. I served on a number of local council committees and was elected to Regional Councillor from 1994 to 1997.

In 2006 I was elected as a regional councillor serving on BOTH Milton and Halton regional councils. I was re-elected in 2010, 2014,2018 and acclaimed in the 2022 municipal election and serve on the following committees.

• Council representative on the Milton Hydro Board ( since 2014).

• Council representative on the Milton Public Library Board ( since 2022)

• Council representative on the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area ( since 2006)

Region of Halton Committees

• Halton representative on the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) board and executive as past president meeting with Provincial cabinet ministers on a regular basis.

• Member of the Older Adult Advisory Committee.
